at my place like what they call ILST services which is an independent living skills trainer. She will help me do things easier or teach me skills so can do them independently. Any help welcomed so looks like can stay now instead of being evicted to small motel room with dog and cats. Now need to get my money deposit mailed to me from there asap!

Didn't get disabled housing because..

present landlord gave a bad reference and place in Little falls unavailable so nowhere to go to now. Not sure why she'd do that as wants me out but then why did she not give back my security either? Makes no sense to me to stand in my way if I am trying to oblige her. Now looks like she is trying to sell the property as has a realtor dropping in next week to look at places. Guess is why she is getting new storm windows atleast on my place to make it look better. Doubt if I will ever get to enjoy them. She will replace them after she throws me in the street with my pets most likely,sweetie that she is.

So then husband of Akama,maNaGER OF PROPERTY SAYS 'can't we get her out for not paying October rent?' Judge said can't advise them and suggested they get an attorney! hahah. I got a free one through legal aide. I knew enough to do that and I'm on disability and am supposed to have a head injury Their normal allegedly.I'm supposed to pay for having to move,put my things in storage,look for new housing constantly,have sheriffs,her,others drop by all hours and call to throw me out?! I have not enjoyed the place in atleast a year and even then not really as place was always a dump,unweatherized,charged top market price though,not mowed regularly,vermin in it and in walls,roof,water damage to walls,mold,making me sick,sinus infections constantly,no storm windows,wet leaves on lawn,unraked,unbagged,fell on,no smoke detectors,carbon monoxide detectors,had to have put in myself and so on..Landlord is a real slumlord and absentee like many here which depreciates property values and the neighborhood as they don't keep up the places. I will offer some money for rent to avoid eviction on grounds didn't pay rent but am asking for a rent reduction due to damages unrepaired yet landlord knows of them. She claims she needs to retake possession of her property to fix them. I guess everyone moves out when their roof needs fixing,windows replacement,insulation,rodents killed,mold right?! A tenant does have some rights and since I have exercised them is the real reason for my eviction as I don't kiss butt and agree with her and let her run me like all else does. Why should I pay top rent to live like this? I have to also as no place takes the pets I have and not giving them away,sorry. Also many landlords don't take section 8 or people on disability with no full time job. Rather discriminatory no?

Got stay..

of execution of eviction or rather judge needs more time to research case and will rule on it in court Thursday at 5 PM with my attorney,Ann from legal aide in Albany,NY and self. Pray for judgement in my favor. Judge also showed a 30 day notice til end of August I never got which is illegal as nothing given to me since one in June and then she dismissed case in court when gave her rent so she needed to refile and took rent right til end of September which should have nullified eviction too., Am trying to get eviction case dismissed on grounds not served correctly. Pays for landlords to seek legal counsel as their mistakes due to cheapness bites them in the butt. Saw this with former landlord Perry Holst who didn't give me notice properly so bought me another month.

Lost court case...

Need to move out by 10/3. Will take only essentials and sheriff dept will throw all else to curb. How sad,especially when landlord has a 1 BR apt available at end of month as neighbors movede out yesterday. She blows. What a witch and liar as said I could stay as know. Judge was viscious in court too,Tanya. Had hoped not to get her. Found motel in E. Durham,Erin and Melody's that takes section 8,pets and has some people there on it so most likely will go ther but place not available til 2 weeks from now so will have to pay to stay in a motel and possibly for a storage site til get place and for move to storage. How can I do that if need to pay rent at motel even with subsidy and for pet deposit? Should be interesting to see how all works out.

My landlord,presently, can't make up her mind. She just said how we need to get section 8 out promptly to see place so get section 8 to pay my rent subsidy. Next day she says place won't pass inspection as is as we already know so nw I need to go so she can reclaim prossion of the place. She sings a different tune daily so don't know where am at one minute to the next. I need new storm windows as have but 2 out of 10 windows,new roof as buckled and water damage to walls causing mold which is killing my sinuses as 'sick building' syndrome. Yet she got full rent this month to live in a dump! Adult protective services,Cairo building dept.,social services and advocate through brain association of nys,coarc,common ground etc. , won't help in any way until my stuff is thrown on the curb,with pets and self,then end up in welfare motel which I have to pay daily for until money exhausted. Who pays to put my things in storage? No one I guess so will have nothing but what can pack in duffle bag,back pack. how sad.

have cellulitis still...

on my arms contracted from itching my poison ivy and rinsing dirty old bottles dug up from old dump sites,for money,from selling them. Dipped arms in dirty water and toxins,bacteria,staph,got into my body,ery serious,swelled,painful. Am taking antibiotics for it so better but still there as itchy and scratch and gets red again,swells. Just need to give it time. had made a poultice of apple cidar vinegar and hot water and dipped gauze in it an applied to wounds but may have been too strong and burned it.

Rain

Have poison ivy again..

I get it yearly this time of year as my pets roll in it and it's around the property where I live as I border the woods where it grows rampant. I ha ve a bad case of it this year that won't go away. had on arms,etc. but now is on my face and other places sun doesn't shine on which is very uncomfortable. Saw doctor today who gave me some meds so should help with the itch. Am taking benadryl orally and topically too. So how about you,do you get or have it?

Mom died

Your prayers are welcomed and inclusion of her name mentioned in a mass. She suffered towards the end,couldn't et,dri nk,swallow,was wasting away..sad. Was for the best that she left but I will miss her greatly as love her so. So used to talking,laughing with her.

Street fest coming..

We will have an auction at Mason's hall,a Speak easy at Gallagher's banquet hall in the evening,vendors with food and arts and crafts,music,dancing from 11 AM-9PM. Come visit. Don't forget to come to my yard,moving sale. I am across from hardware store. I have a bit of everything(clothes,games,stuffed animals,knick na cks,house wares,dvds,cds,vhs's,computer gadgets, books,glassware,china,old bottles,furniture,jewelry,toys,vintage collectibles,etc. for $1+-5,mostly but a few things a bit more like a guitar for $35 with case and a color printer,copier,scanner for but $39. Still looking for a new home. I am on top of the list for section 8 which could supplement my rent where am and have an appointment with them in Catskill on Tuesday. wish me luck. Had offered to take the empty but now rented 1 BR cottage with garage,next door,put things in garage out of sight,affordabley but landlord refused. Yet she complains of my things outside. I can't afford to pay anyone to remove it to a storage site or pay for one so there it stays. despite saying she would let me stay if paid her which did,back due money,she still wants me out and is threatening court action.
